Seit gestern bin ich da und es ist echt cool hier :) Heute waren wir in Galway und da waren echt an jeder Ecke Straßenkünstler.

First day in Toronto/ Erster Tag in Toronto

Here are some photos of my first day in Toronto. Today we were at CN Tower, had a walk here at the lake and went shopping!
Clothing is so cheap in Canada. But I just bought a Hard Rock Shirt. :)

Hier sind ein paar Fotos von meinem ersten Tag in Toronto. Heute sind wir im CN Tower gewesen, haben einen Spaziergang am See gemacht und sind shoppen gegangen!
Kleidung ist hier wirklich billig. Trotzdem habe ich nur ein Hard Rock Shirt gekauft. :)

Ich liebe diese Stadt! Hier kommt total das Urlaubsfeeling auf. Wir haben tagsüber 27°C min.

I love this city! It's like in vacation. We have 27°C during the day.

Letzter Tag/Last Day- Kathy

Ich war heute Vormittag mit Mia am Flughafen und als sie durch die Passkontrolle gegangen war, wurde mir auf einmal bewusst: Morgen geht's dir genauso. Du wirst nicht nur Mia lange nicht sehen, sondern alle deine Freunde und deine ganze Familie!
Es war ein total seltsames Gefühl und es fiel mir auch unheimlich schwer Mia gehen zu lassen, auch wenn das eigentlich voll sinnlos ist, weil ich ja ab morgen sowieso selbst weg bin.

Wie auch immer. Mia, wenn du das liest: Ich wünsche dir einen tollen Flug und hoffe, dass du eine unvergessliche Zeit in Kanada erleben wirst. Ich hoffe, dass du viele neue Freunde finden wirst und dass alles so wird, wie du es dir wünscht! Hab Spaß und genieß es <3

Ich muss jetzt noch die letzten Sachen packen, gleich den Online-Check-In machen, damit ich neben Pia sitzen kann und heute Abend kommt noch mal eine Freundin vorbei und ich telefoniere noch mal mit meinen Großeltern.

Morgen gibt es dann nochmal eins meiner Lieblingsessen: Gefülltes Kraut <3 und um 16:05 Uhr startet dann mein Flieger nach Irland.
Mein nächster Post wird dann wahrscheinlich schon aus Irland sein! Das ist alles so surreal, ich kann es noch gar nicht richtig begreifen.

This morning I went to the Airport with Mia and when she walked through the passport control I suddenly realized: Tomorrow you will do the same! You won't just don't see Mia for a Long time but also all your friends and your whole Family!
It was a really strange Feeling and it was very difficult to let Mia go although it is Kind of stupid because I won't be here anyway.

How ever. Mia, if you're reading this: I wish that your flight is great and hope that you will experience an unforgetable time in Canada. I hope you will meet lots of new friends and al your wishes come true. Have fun and enjoy your time <3

Today, I have to pack my last things and to do the online check-in so that I can sit next to Pia. In the evening a friend of mine will visit me and I will call my grandparents.

Tomorrow my mum will cook one of my favorite dishes: filled cabbage and at 4 pm my flight will start!
My next post will be from Ireland! It's all unbeliveable, I can't imagine it!

Am Flughafen

Jetzt geht's los! Ich sitze am Flughafen im Gate und in einer Stunde geht der Flug. Ich freue mich unglaublich darauf. Toronto wird toll mit den Leuten!

Die Woche der letzten Male/The week of the last times- Kathy

Heute hat sie begonnen: Die Woche der letzten Male. Vieles werde ich zum letzten Mal für ein Jahr tun.
Am Wochenende war ich auf der Geburtstagsfeier von meiner Tante und es viel mir unheimlich schwer mich von meiner Familie zu verabschieden.
Morgen geht dann das Verabschieden weiter: Ich gehe das letzte Mal in meine deutsche Schule  und sehe auch das letzte Mal meine ganzen Freunde dort.
Am Mittwoch schlafe ich dann das letzte Mal zu Hause und am Donnerstag werde ich das letzte Mal deutschen Boden unter den Füßen haben.
Diese Liste könnte ich ewig weiterführen und es ist ein beängstigendes Gefühl zu wissen, was einem alles fehlen wird, aber trotzdem gibt es auch ganz viel, was mich erwartet:
Das erste Mal irischen Boden unter den Füßen haben, das erste Mal in meine irische Schule gehen. Das erste Mal meine neuen Mitschüler sehen. Das erste Mal in meinem irischen zu Hause schlafen.
Ich denke es ist eine riesen Chance, auch wenn ich dafür unheimlich viel zurück lassen muss.
Deswegen ein mit gemischten Gefühlen geschriebenes: Ireland, here I come!

Ps: Nur noch 3 Tage, bis ich nicht mehr wie ein Penner rumlaufen muss! Ich hasse es, dass alle Klamotten die ich mag eingepackt sind und nur noch die zum anziehen bleiben, die ich nicht mag!


Today, it started: The week of the last times-
At the Weekend my aunt celebrated her birthday and it was very hard to say goodbye to my Family.
Tomorrow saying goodbye goes on: It's my last School day at my German School and I will see my friends there for the last time.
On Wednesday, I will sleep at home for the last time and on Thursday I will stand for the last time on German ground.
This list could go on forever and it is a frightening Feeling to know what I will miss but nevertheless there are so many things I can't imagine!
Irish ground under my feet, for the first time.
I will go to my irish School for the first time and I will see my new classmates.
Also I will sleep at my irish home for the first time.
I think it is a huge Chance although I have to leave many things therefor.
Because of that a, with mixed Feelings written: Ireland, here I come!

Ps: Only three days, till I don't have to dress like a tramp anymore! I hate that all clothes I like are packed into my suitcase and I just can wear those I don't like!

Canadian Dollars und bald geht's los! - Mia

Jetzt habe ich auch kanadische Dollar. Die sind voll schön.

In 5 Tagen geht es los und ich kann mich nicht richtig darauf einstellen, weil ich wieder Schule habe. Noch dazu Oberstufe.
Jetzt bin ich wieder im Schulalltag drin und werde gleich wieder herausgerissen. Ob das so sinnvoll war? Es ist doof, wieder alle Leute, mit denen ich mich jetzt so gut verstehe, zu verlassen. Auch, weil ich viele davon noch nicht so lange befreundet bin...

Naja, trotzdem freue ich mich total auf Kanada! Erst einmal fliege ich ja für 3 Nächte nach Toronto mit den anderen "Kanadiern" von Xplore. Die Tage werden bestimmt ganz toll. Toronto besichtigen (CN Tower, usw.), Baseball match anschauen und Niagara Wasserfälle!!!
Kleiner Urlaub, bevor die Schule in Kanada beginnt.

Meine Hostmum hat sich auch schon ein paar Tage für mich freigenommen, wenn ich am 31.8. dort ankomme. Schule startet dort erst am 4. oder 5. September.

Now I finally have canadian dollars. It's beautiful money.

In 5 days I'll fly to Canada but I can't really get it because I have school again. I got used to go to school again and now I have to go. That's stupid because I made friends with so many nice people.

Anyway, I'm looking forward to coming to Canada! First I'll fly for 3 nights to Toronto with the other nice guys from Xplore. We are going to visit Niagara Falls, Toronto city (CN Tower, etc.) and a baseball match!!
Little vacation before school starts in Canada.

My hostmum has already taken some days off for me when I'll arrive 31st August. School starts there 4th or 5th September.

Ich möchte mich noch mal bei allen meinen lieben Freunden bedanken, dass ihr dieses Video für mich gemacht habt!
Darüber habe ich mich so gefreut!

Kathy verdient ein dickes Dankeschön und eine ganz große Umarmung dafür, dass sie alles organisiert und geschnitten hat. Ich werde dich total vermissen!

Abschiedsfeier/Farewell party- Kathy

Gestern war mein Abschiedsfeier mit meinen Freunden und es war super, auch wenn leider nicht alle kommen konnten. Wir haben uns nachmittags zum Kuchen essen getroffen und abends noch gegrillt.
Besonders toll war das Fotoalbum, dass ich von ein paar Freunden geschenkt bekommen habe. Dafür nochmal vielen Dank, Leute <3
Gestern ist mir dann nochmal überdeutlich bewusst geworden, wie sehr ich euch alle vermissen werde und ich wünschte, dass ich euch alle heimlich in meinen Koffer stecken könnte! Ihr seid echt die tollsten Freunde, die man sich wünschen kann!

Yesterday my farewell Party with my friends took place and it was awesome although not everbody was able to come. We met in the afternoon and had a Barbecue.
Especially great was the photo Album which my friends gifted to me. There for: Thank you very much, guys <3
Yesterday I realized how hard I will miss you all and I wish I could pack you all into my case and take you with me! You are the best friends I can imagine!

11 day 5 hours to Ireland <3

Kleines Update/Little Update- Kathy

Am Sonntag bin ich aus Frankreich wiedergekommen und ich muss ehrlich sagen: Es war eine super tolle Zeit und ich wäre gerne noch länger geblieben!
Wir waren in der Nähe von Bordeaux und haben sowohl einen Ausflug dahin, als auch einen zur Dune de Pilat, der größten Wanderdüne Europas, gemacht.

Zu Hause ging dann aber leider der Stress wieder weiter, aber immerhin hab ich jetzt schwarze Schuhe für meine Schuluniform und die ersten Teile meines Gastgeschenks :)

Morgen geht's dann erstmal zum Zahnarzt, zum Friseur und eine neue Brille kaufen.

Heute kam noch Post von meiner Austauschorganisation: Die genaue Uhrzeit, zu der wir uns am Flughafen treffen und eine Checkliste, mit Sachen die ich noch für Irland brauche.

Am Samstag ist meine Abschiedsfeier, ich denke, dass ich mich danach wieder melden werde, bis dahin :)

On Sunday I came home from France und I have to say: It was a really, really great time and I wish I could be still there!
We were in a village near to Bordeaux and went on a trip to it and to the Dune de Pilat which is the biggest dune of Europe.

At home the stress went on, but at least I have got black shoes for my schooluniform now!

Tomorrow I have to go to the Dentist, the hairdresser and to buy new glasses.

Today I got post from my Exchange Organisation: The excactly time when we meet at the Airport and a checklist with things I Need in Ireland.

On Saturday is my farewell Party and I think I will write after it :)

Zurück aus dem Urlaub - Mia

Hallo ihr!

Die letzte Zeit waren Kathy und ich im Urlaub und hatten deshalb keine Gelegenheit neue Artikel zu veröffentlichen oder Kommentare zu beantworten.

Vielen Dank für die Kommentare, die ihr uns in dieser Zeit geschrieben habt.
Wir werden sie so schnell wie möglich beantworten. Da es sich bei den meisten um die Blogverlinkungen handelt, müssen wir uns erst einmal individuelle Texte zu jedem Blog und Blogger ausdenken.


Bevor der Stress mit dem Packen jetzt los geht, war es für mich toll noch mal für ein paar Tage in die Türkei zu fliegen. Ich konnte den ganzen Tag am Meer liegen, was ich total liebe.

Madlen and Elena? Thank you two guys for the great time! I enjoyed our last day very much. It's hard to come from the hot and sunny Turkey to the rainy Germany! I want 40°C again!! :D

Einkaufen/Shopping- Kathy

Letzte Woche war ich mit meinem Vater einkaufen. Ich habe mir für Irland einen eigenen Laptop gekauft und im Laden ist uns dann noch eingefallen, dass ich für die irischen Steckdosen auch noch Adapter brauche .

In meinem Zimmer steht eine (noch) sehr kleine Kiste mit Zeug, das ich unbedingt mit nach Irland nehmen will und hier in Deutschland momentan nicht brauche. Und das befindet sich momentan darin:

-          Die zwei Adapter

-          Total süß gestaltete Taschentücher falls ich Heimweh bekomme (von der lieben Jasi <3)

-          Ein extrem geiles Englischwörterbuch, indem Sätze für jede nur erdenkliche Situation drinstehen.
      Mein Favorit ist trotzdem noch: „Gibt es hier irgendjemanden der Deutsch spricht?“ :P  
      (Hier kann man ihn kaufen :) auch von Jasi)
-     Ein extrem süßer, selbstgemachter Kalender (von Anni <3)

-          Ein bisschen Geld :)

Wie gesagt, bis jetzt ist noch nicht viel drin, aber es wird mit jedem Tag mehr und ich frage mich wie ich mein gesamtes Gepäck in einem Koffer unterbringen soll…

Naja, andere schaffen das auch, also muss ich da wohl auch durch :D

Last week I was shopping with my father. I bought a laptop for Ireland and at the shop  we remembered that I have to buy adapter for the irish sockets.

In my room, stands a little box with things in it which I want to take with me to Ireland and don’t need at the moment in Germany. And this is what is in the box at the moment:

-the 2 adapters

-very cute handkerchiefs from my friend Jasi

-an English dictionary

-a very very cute selfmade calendar from my friend Anni

-and some money :)

Like I said till now it isn’t very much inside it but it gets bigger from day to day and I wonder how I could do all my things into only one case…
